Spell: Prepare Essentia Salt
A ritual to perform in order to prepare an essentia salt from an object or creature. The procedure is as follows:
Place the object to be converted into a bowl or similar device.
Wet the rim of the bowl and outermost edges of the object with pure water, then with a dilute saline solution, then with oil pressed from olives.
Gently sprinkle the object with rock salt, then with potash of sulfur. Take care to avoid excess.
Prepare a solution of concentrated aqua fortis, fortified with a drop of the sap of the invoker's veins (for animate objects only), and incant the following lines:
“in fines tuos elementa
materiae resolvi
adsolati sunt cogitatio (for animate objects only)
y’ah no-sol’ol’ahn ieh
UAEE”
Upon utterance of the final syllable, hold the sound and pour in the acid. Continue to hold the sound until the substance has dissolved into its essentia. In the event the substance has not dissolved, repeat the incantation and add more aqua fortis. Repeat this process up to seven times until substance has dissolved.
