The Story

The Cold Road Ahead is a story about Lyss, a young apprentice artisan with a striking talent for the outlawed art of golemancy, and Zohi, an easygoing monster hunter with the ability to summon and dismiss his weapons from thin air. When a new star appears in the sky and the world begins to go mad, those with the knowledge of the Obsidian Pillars are few - and those with the resolve to seek out the ancient astral artifacts are even fewer. Lyss and Zohi are two of those few, so to save the world they and their companions start the long trek north along the cold road towards the icy plateau and its long-buried secrets...

The story is written in a choose-your-own adventure format and was run over Discord on the Clockworksun Stories Discord server. The story was completed on September 19th, 2023, and will no longer be updating.
